Fender has finally unveiled the highly-requested Susan Tedeschi signature Telecaster, honouring the blues and American roots icon with her first-ever signature model.
Tedeschi’s Workhorse Tele Gets the Signature Treatment
Tedeschi’s signature Telecaster is based on her beloved 1993 American Standard Tele, the guitar featured on the cover of her seminal album “Just Won’t Burn.”
This Caribbean Mist beauty has been her go-to for over three decades.
Classic Tele Specs with a Modern Twist
The guitar features a slim Tedeschi C-shaped maple neck, a 9.5″ radius rosewood fretboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a standard alder body. Custom Susan Tedeschi single-coil pickups deliver tones perfect for blues and beyond, while a Master TBX tone control offers expanded tonal possibilities.
Faithful Recreation with a Clean Look
This signature model stays true to Tedeschi’s original Tele’s specs but with a clean finish – a contrast to her well-worn instrument covered in signatures from B.B. King and other music legends.
A Dream Come True for Tedeschi
The launch marks a special moment for Tedeschi, who never expected a signature model. “Honestly, it’s a dream,” she says. “It’s an incredible honour.”
