The Warm Audio ODD Box V1 and Mutation Phasor II are the latest two clones of classic effect pedals from the Austin-based gear maker.
Warm Audio ODD Box V1
This Warm Audio ODD Box V1 is based on the Fulltone OCD overdrive pedal. It offers a hard-clipping, op-amp-based overdrive inspired by an iconic pedalboard staple known for having a “cranked amp” tone.
UK/US
It has controls for Volume, Tone and Drive, along with a UK/US Switch, to flip the personality of ODD from a “British” to an “American” tube amp.
True to its inspiration, the ODD delivers the sound of massive, live electric guitar that attracted players like Billy Gibbons, Mark Hoppus, Eric Johnson, J Mascis and Paul Gilbert.
MSRP – USD 119
Mutation Phasor II
Next up is the Mutation Phasor II and this is a direct clone of the Mu-Tron Phasor II from the 1970s. Perfect for anyone into funky phaser effects.
’70s Vibes
This electro-optical phase-shifting pedal is built with a true-to-spec recreation of the 70s circuit using premium components.
The effect pedal creates legendary vintage vibes and gives instruments such as guitar, piano or bass rich lows, “Wobble” and “Swirl” effects and can give the sound an “instant radio” character.
It is an effect that has been used by the likes of Billy Corgan, Tom Bukovac, and Robin Trower.
MSRP – USD 149
