Solar Guitars Unveils the Striking AP1.6HPNG in Pink Neon Gloss
Rock the stage with the Solar AP1.6HPNG in Pink Neon Gloss. Featuring Duncan Solar pickups and a USA Hipshot bridge, it’s built for elite precision and professional performance.

Solar Guitars has officially expanded its lineup with the bold new Type AP1.6HPNG, an instrument that combines high-performance specifications with a visually arresting aesthetic. Finished in an unmistakable Pink Neon Gloss, this six-string guitar is designed to stand out on any stage while providing the precision required for professional studio work.

Built for Speed and Precision

The Type AP1.6HPNG features a set-thru neck/body joint, with a 3-piece maple neck and an alder body. This combination, paired with a standard 25.5” scale length, ensures the instrument remains tight and articulate even during complex passages.

To facilitate effortless movement, the neck is carved into a thin, fast C-shape profile. It is topped with an ebony fingerboard featuring a 350mm radius and 24 super-jumbo stainless steel frets. For players performing in low-light environments, the guitar includes Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots for easy navigation across the fretboard.

This latest Pink Neon Gloss model follows last week’s Neon Green Sustainiac-loaded release.

Elite Hardware and Tonal Versatility

Solar Guitars has equipped the AP1.6HPNG with premium hardware to ensure maximum reliability:

  • Bridge: A USA-made Hipshot bridge provides a stable foundation and precise intonation.

  • Tuning: Solar 18:1 locking tuners and a Graphtech Tusq XXL nut work in tandem to maintain solid tuning integrity under demanding conditions.

  • Truss Rod: A dual-action truss rod allows for fine-tuned neck adjustments to suit any playing style.

The guitar’s tonal heart lies in its Duncan Solar pickups. These passive pickups are wired to a 5-way blade switch, offering a spectrum of sounds ranging from organic cleans to saturated, high-gain aggression. The inclusion of the 5-way switch provides expanded flexibility beyond typical dual-humbucker configurations, making it a versatile tool for various genres.

Beyond its “stealth looks” and vibrant finish, the AP1.6HPNG is designed with player comfort in mind. A distinctive cutaway scoop and a full-access neck joint allow players to reach every fret with ease, ensuring no part of the fingerboard is off-limits during lead work.

Pre-orders are open now, priced at $1099
