Blues legend Joe Bonamassa has been forced to evacuate a portion of his renowned guitar collection from his “Nerdville West” museum due to the ongoing wildfires ravaging Los Angeles.

Blues rock titan Joe Bonamassa has been forced to evacuate some of his legendary guitar collection from his “Nerdville West” museum due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. The musician, renowned for his extensive collection of vintage instruments, shared updates on his Instagram page, expressing his deep concern and uncertainty.

It’s not in my hands anymore,” Bonamassa wrote, acknowledging the helplessness he feels as a curator. “It’s my lifetime of work. I knew this day would come eventually but just not today. So far so good tonight but the situation is very fluid.”

Wildfires Rage in Los Angeles

Bonamassa’s Nerdville West, located in the Laurel Canyon area of Los Angeles, is a renowned destination for guitar enthusiasts, housing an astonishing array of vintage instruments, amplifiers, and recording equipment.

The collection boasts some of the most iconic and historically significant pieces in the world, including rare Les Pauls, Stratocasters, Telecasters, and vintage amplifiers from Fender, Marshall, and Vox.
