Behringer has announced the release of the Chorus Symphony, a vintage-inspired modulation pedal that pays homage to the iconic sound of the Roland Jazz Chorus amplifier.
Chorus Symphony
The Chorus Symphony boasts an all-analog BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) circuit, a hallmark of classic ’70s modulation effects. This circuitry, renowned for its rich, warm character, has been faithfully recreated to deliver the thick, syrupy, and multidimensional chorus and vibrato sounds that have graced countless hit records.
It is based on the BOSS CE-1 pedal from the 1970s.

A Sound Heard ‘Round the World
The Jazz Chorus effect, with its lush, shimmering chorus, quickly became a staple for guitarists worldwide.
Legends like John Frusciante, Brian May, Joe Satriani, and Andy Summers, among many others, have embraced this iconic sound. The Chorus Symphony aims to capture that very essence, allowing musicians to add depth and dimension to their instruments with ease.

Key Features & Versatility
- Authentic ’70s Tone: The pedal faithfully replicates the BBD circuitry of the classic Jazz Chorus amplifier, ensuring a true vintage sonic experience.
- Versatile Preamp: A high/low sensitivity switch allows for optimal signal handling with various instruments, while the level control can add subtle warmth or push the preamp into overdrive territory for added crunch.
- Wide Stereo Spread: Dual outputs deliver a spacious and immersive stereo effect, creating a truly three-dimensional soundscape.
- Intuitive Controls: A single rotary knob adjusts both the speed and depth of the chorus effect for effortless control.
- Vibrato Mode: Independent depth and rate controls provide precise shaping of the vibrato effect.
- Buffered/True Bypass: An internal switch allows users to select between buffered bypass for signal integrity and true bypass for minimal signal interference.

A Modern Take on a Classic
The Chorus Symphony features a robust and stylish housing that evokes the spirit of vintage gear. Its internal components, including authentic BBD chips, ensure the highest level of sonic fidelity.
