Guitarists seeking powerful tone and versatile features, take note! Blackstar Amplification has just announced the release of the Debut 100RH amplifier head and the matching Debut 212V cabinet. Expanding their popular Debut series, these new additions offer a significant step up in power and performance, all while retaining the user-friendly design and affordability the line is known for.
Debut 100RH: A Powerful Head with Tube-Like Tone
The Debut 100RH amp head boasts a MOSFET preamp designed to emulate the warmth and responsiveness of a tube amplifier. Blackstar’s signature Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) is onboard, allowing players to blend between classic British and American tonal characteristics seamlessly. A dedicated FX loop provides further flexibility for integrating external effects.

Two Channels
The 100RH features two channels: a clean channel inspired by Blackstar’s HT series, complete with a Bright switch for added sparkle, and an overdrive channel based on the St. James 6L6, delivering a rich, tube-like distortion. A footswitch (sold separately) allows for easy channel switching. Onboard reverb, switchable between plate and hall settings, and a three-band EQ (bass, mid, treble) provide ample tone-shaping options.

Power Reduction
A power reduction switch drops the output from 100 watts to a neighbor-friendly 5 watts for practice or quieter settings. Both 16-ohm and 8-ohm speaker outputs are included. The amp also features a headphone output for silent practice and a line-in (3.5mm mini-jack) for connecting backing tracks.
The Debut 100RH is available in both black and cream finishes.

Debut 212V: The Perfect Partner
Complementing the 100RH head is the Debut 212V cabinet. This 2×12″ cabinet has two 12-inch Blackstar Anthem 50 speakers designed to deliver a powerful and balanced sound. Like the head, the 212V is available in matching black and cream finishes, creating a cohesive and stylish rig.
