Rick Graham and Charvel have once again teamed up to deliver the new Pro-Mod DK24 2PT, a signature electric guitar that blends modern playability with a vintage-inspired, distressed satin shell pink finish. This release marks Graham’s second signature model with the brand and, according to Charvel, is designed to “push the boundaries of modern guitar design.”

The British virtuoso and celebrated online educator, known for his technical prowess and a fan base that includes guitar legends like Joe Satriani and Nuno Bettencourt, has put a personal touch on this new model.
Graham describes the guitar as a reflection of his own journey, stating, “A lot has changed in my playing and in my life—I’ve been through some ups and downs. But in that space, I found myself reconnecting with my love of the instrument.” This sentiment is captured perfectly in the guitar’s relic’d finish, which Graham says gives it a story and a soul.
Key Features and Specifications
Building upon the foundation of his 2021 signature model, the new Pro-Mod DK24 2PT features a familiar Dinky body shape made from alder.
The bolt-on maple neck is designed for speed, complemented by a 12″-16″ compound radius fretboard with 24 jumbo frets and rolled edges for an exceptionally comfortable feel. The bare maple reverse Stratocaster-style headstock stands out against the guitar’s aged pink body.
The hardware is a mix of reliable and high-performance components, including a Gotoh Custom 510 fixed bridge with a chrome whammy bar and Charvel die-cast locking tuners. For improved stability and tone, it also has a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut and Luminlay side dots for easy navigation on dark stages.
For its electronics, the guitar departs from the Bare Knuckle pickups of its predecessor, opting instead for custom-wound Charvel HSS pickups. This configuration promises to deliver Graham’s signature versatile voice, making the instrument suitable for a wide range of musical styles.
Aesthetically, the guitar’s most striking feature is its distressed satin shell pink nitrocellulose finish.
This unique relic’d look gives the instrument a lived-in, vintage feel that Graham says is “calling out to be picked up.”
