Adjusto-Matic

As the name suggests these are hard tail models that come with an Adjusto-Matic bridge setup, rather than the traditional vibrato of a standard Jazzmaster. This adds some stability and could be better for more aggressive players or guitarists who require a little more sustain.

Modern Modified

They also feature a pair of Modern Modified humbucking pickups. These are wired to a single volume and tone control, along with a three-way pickup selector switch.

Guitar Bomb Verdict

An interesting take on the classic offset Jazzmaster model and could be popular with anyone who does not get on with vintage-style Jazzmaster vibrato systems. Or anyone who likes humbucking pickups. Potentially, a great guitar for many styles of music and has some nice color combinations available.

Let’s just hope a few escape from the Japanese market for sale elsewhere in the world.

MSRP – Â¥ 154,000 including gig bag
