Recent leaks have sparked excitement among guitar and bass enthusiasts as Fender prepares to unveil its new Ultra II series. While the official release is still pending, the leaked images offer a glimpse into what we can expect from this highly anticipated lineup.
Fender Ultra II
We cannot confirm if these are real or just mock-ups, but these images are being shared online and appear to show the new Fender Ultra II series models. The photos are all low resolution, so there isn’t great detail shown on any of the models shared online.
Noiseless Pickups
The Ultra II series is poised to surpass its predecessor and the previous Elite series regarding features and performance. Key upgrades include noiseless pickups for reduced hum, a relocated active/passive switch for versatile tonal options, and other innovative features yet to be revealed.
Models shared so far
Images shared so far show a Stratocaster with SSS and HSS layouts, a Telecaster, a Meteora with HH layout, a Meteora Bass, and a Deluxe Precision Bass with P and J pickups.
We would also guess there could be more models, including the Jazz Bass, Jazzmaster, and possibly 5-string bass models.
Many appear to have metallic anodised aluminium pickguards and what looks like metallic finishes. The hardware is all modern and includes a 2-point trem for the Stratocasters and a six-saddle bridge for the Telecaster models.
New Colours 2024
The colours shown so far include what appear to be Metallic/Pearl White, Texas Tea (looks almost Black), Sinister Red, Noble Blue, Chartreuse Sparkle or Solar Flare (Yellow), and UltraBirst (3-tone Sunburst) finishes.
