Gibson Keb’ Mo’ “3.0” 12-Fret J-45
This Gibson Keb’ Mo’ “3.0” 12-Fret J-45 looks like a great acoustic for finger-picking blues lines on. It has a 12th-fret neck joint for comfortable playability and has 19 frets in total.
Whereas a regular J-45 has a 14th fret neck joint and the standard 20 frets.
Custom Neck
It comes with a custom Keb’ Mo’ profile mahogany neck and a 12”-radius rosewood fretboard, a bone nut and mother-of-pearl dot inlays.
Then it has a compound Dovetail neck-to-body joint that joins that custom neck to the guitar’s body.
X-Bracing
The body itself is made from mahogany back and sides and a thermally aged Sitka spruce top. Finished in a Vintage Sunburst finish without a pickguard.
The Advanced X-Bracing works with the LR Baggs VTC preamp and under saddle pickup, with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls.
Hardware
Elsewhere this model features a set of Grover open-back tuners, a Belly Down closed slot rosewood bridge and black plastic bridge pins, plus a bone saddle, an adjustable truss rod and multi-ply binding on the guitar’s top.
The price includes a Gibson hardshell case.
MSRP – $4,299

HOWS THE KEBMO 3.0 12 FRETTER ?
I assume the neck carve is the standard Gibson rounded “C” ?
I can find no mention of the neck carve which is important to me. Thanks for a reply.
Gibson site officially states it has a ‘Keb’ Mo’ Neck’ profile
