In a vibrant fusion of music and fashion, iconic American brands Gibson and Marc Jacobs have partnered to launch a limited-edition JOY collection. The collaboration features eight unique Gibson Les Paul guitars, along with custom straps and pick tins, all adorned with whimsical artwork from London-based artist and illustrator Hattie Stewart.
Gibson Les Paul Standard “Daisy Joy”
The partnership, which debuted during New York Fashion Week, marks a rare collaborative venture for Gibson. The collection is centered around a special Gibson Les Paul Standard “Daisy Joy” designed by Marc Jacobs himself, and additional Gibson Les Paul Studio guitars featuring Stewart’s colorful designs.

Marc Jacobs at The Corner
The new line was unveiled at the “Marc Jacobs at The Corner” pop-up store, a joint venture with Nordstrom located on 57th Street and Broadway in New York City. The launch event drew a crowd of notable attendees, including Marc Jacobs and Whoopi Goldberg, and was highlighted by a live performance from Gibson Spotlight Artist Devon Thompson, who played one of the guitars painted by Hattie Stewart.
“Music and fashion have long been inseparable as forms of self-expression,” said Katie Knipper, who led the collaboration for Gibson. “This collaboration in the name of joy felt incredibly fitting and necessary in this moment.”
The guitars, which echo Jacobs’ love for bold color schemes, also feature his signature on their bodies. In addition to the collection with Gibson, Jacobs’s “Joy” campaign includes collaborations with other major brands like Converse, Barbie, and Crayola.
Custom Straps & Pick Tins
The ultra-limited Les Paul models are available for purchase at Nordstrom NYC and select Marc Jacobs boutiques, while the custom straps and pick tins are available now through Nordstrom. A Hattie Stewart-designed Les Paul model from the collection is also available at Nordstrom for $3,999.
The “Joy” experience will continue with global installations and pop-ups in Paris, Tokyo, and Miami, culminating at Art Basel Miami in December.
The full capsule collection launched in September 2025 at select Marc Jacobs boutiques and online.
