Great Eastern FX has unveiled its latest creation, the Focus Fuzz Deluxe, a pedal that redefines what a fuzz box can be. This isn’t just a fuzz pedal; it’s a comprehensive gain solution, boasting boost, overdrive, fuzz, and an octave-up, all wrapped in a stunning vintage-inspired enclosure.

The Focus Fuzz Deluxe expands upon the beloved original, taking its versatility to new heights. While the limited-edition silicon variant garnered praise, this latest iteration pushes the boundaries further.
Three Times the Fun!
Featuring a three-way rotary switch, players can seamlessly transition between boost, overdrive,and fuzzmodes, offering many tonal possibilities.
Adding to its arsenal is a dedicated footswitch for engaging a transistor-based analogue octave-up, transforming the pedal into a sonic powerhouse. “This golden gain machine covers the entire spectrum from gritty boost through to full-on fuzz,” states Great Eastern FX, highlighting the pedal’s expansive capabilities.
Hybrid Silicon-Germanium
The pedal maintains the brand’s signature aesthetic, with vintage-style knobs and a textured metal enclosure reminiscent of classic studio hardware. Under the hood, a hybrid silicon-germanium circuit, including an NOS germanium transistor, delivers rich and dynamic tones.
Focus
The familiar Focus control, a staple of the original Focus Fuzz, remains central to the Deluxe’s functionality. This control adjusts gain and midrange definition, allowing players to sculpt their tone to fit seamlessly into any mix. The Focus dial acts as a gain and presence control in boost and overdrive modes, providing further tonal flexibility.
The Fuzz dial adds saturation and gain, while the Level control manages overall output. The boost mode offers an “almost clean” boost, ideal for shaping the guitar-amp interaction, while the overdrive mode provides “organic, amp-like overdrive” with responsive dynamics.
