Legendary guitarist Paul Gilbert from the band Mr. Big had four prized guitars stolen on August 13th in Frankfurt, Germany, just before their concert at Batschkapp. The stolen instruments include three Ibanez signature models and a Godin acoustic guitar.

- Ibanez FRM300 (Purple with black pickguard): This signature guitar features a unique modification by Gilbert: a 2-inch neodymium magnet attached to the lower cutaway holds his metal guitar slide. Serial Number LA0348
- Ibanez PGM1000T (Aged Cream Burst): This limited-edition guitar is a neck-through model with DiMarzio Air Classic humbuckers. While the serial number is unavailable, it has a distinct visual feature – rubber erasers cut and placed under the pickups to minimize feedback.Serial Number LA0448
