Manson Guitar Works has unveiled a refreshed M-Series of electric guitars, boasting high-end features and specs designed to capture the iconic tone of Muse frontman Matt Bellamy. While not entry-level, these mid-priced instruments offer professional-grade performance and a range of customizable options.
M-Series Guitars
The 2025 M-Series models come in several striking finishes, including the new Night Sky Holosparkle gloss, alongside Dry Satin Black, Gloss Red Alert, and Gloss Bluebell Metallic.
This shimmering new finish caters to players who, like Bellamy, appreciate a touch of stage-ready flair.
Sustainiac Stealth Pro
A key upgrade includes the Sustainiac Stealth Pro system, offering three modes (Fundamental, Harmonic, and Mix) for extended note sustain. This is paired with an MB PF-1 bridge humbucker, based on an Alnico V magnet and wound for a versatile medium-hot output.
An onboard Z.Vex Fuzz Factory circuit is available for players seeking more sonic mayhem, effectively embedding the classic fuzz pedal within the guitar itself. Further customization is possible with optional Manson Custom UK control knobs, offering coil tap or series/parallel switching.
Hardware highlights include Gotoh 381 tuners with a 16:1 ratio and height-adjustable posts, complemented by a Gotoh TOM-style bridge and tailpiece.
The M-Series maintains its core design, featuring a solid alder body, a bolt-on maple neck, and a comfortable soft V profile, mirroring Bellamy’s preferences. The rosewood fingerboard has a 12” radius and 22 frets, with a standard 25.5” scale length.
Built in the EU with UK-made pickups, electronics installation, and a US-made Sustainiac system, the guitars undergo final setup and inspection at Manson’s UK headquarters.
The new M-Series models range from £1,949 to £2,549, including a Mono Sleeve gig bag.
