Online rumors have been circulating for ages, and now it has been confirmed that the Mesa will be re-releasing Mark IIC+ and chrome chassis Rev F Rectifier. Some dealers have listed 3 December as the official release date for the Mesa IIC+, with the Rev F Rectifier date yet to be shared.
UPDATE 3 December
As we predicted…
Preorders are open now at Mesa authorized dealers.

Mesa IIC+ and Rev F Rectifier
The Mesa Mark IIC+ and Rev F Rectifier amps have leaked online (now pulled by dealers), and a few images have also circulated online. Information about the models has also been revealed and shared across various sources, so we have some basic information on these new tube amp head reissues.
There was also the tease back in March, which looks quite similar to the Rev F Rectifier model that has also been shared online. It was considered a potential prototype signature amp for Tool guitarist Adam Jones.
We won’t know until the new amps are officially announced, so we can only speculate.
Gibson Teases
Gibson CEO Cesar Gueikian has been teasing new Mesa models for ages via his Instagram account. A few dealers have ‘accidentally’ posted details of the two new Mesa amps on their sites.
Gibson purchased Mesa Boogie in 2021, and Randall Smith left the company earlier this year without much official fanfare. Rumors suggest he was essentially ousted.
3 December Release & Pricing
According to various online leaks, the Mesa Mark IIC+ will be officially released on 3 December, costing $3599 in the US and £3699 in the UK.
Mesa Reissues
We predict many Mesa Boogie reissues now that Gibson is entirely in control of the brand name and owns all the back catalog, designs, and names.
There is only minimal information at the time of writing, and we will update with more details once they become available.
