Will that work with a Fender Jaguar AmPro and a lowly Krate 18 watts tube amp ?

I cannot see any reason why it wouldn’t. It just won’t work with active pickups or active electronics in a guitar (or bass), the pickups in a Jaguar are traditionally passive, so you should be fine.
