Achieving Rock-Solid Tuning on a Gibson Les Paul (Tune Voodoo Demo)

The Tune Voodoo was created by Kimmo Pennanen and provides a neat solution for the problem. As a disclaimer, it only works on Les Pauls with straight-slotted nuts and will not be effective on those with angled nut slots.

It uses the same top screw hole that holds the truss rod cover in place, and so it does not require any permanent modification to your guitar.

The Tune Voodoo Advantage

  • Rock-Solid Tuning Stability: Keep your tone locked in. Corrects the alignment of your D and G strings, ensuring a perfectly straight pull through the nut slots. This eliminates string binding, friction, and slipping, so your guitar stays reliably in tune no matter how hard you play.

  • Striking Custom Aesthetics: Give your headstock a bold, rock-inspired upgrade that commands attention. Personalize your instrument by choosing from three exclusive, attitude-packed designs: The Skull, The Crown, or The Rock Star.

  • Effortless 5-Minute Installation: Upgrading your guitar is incredibly quick and easy. Simply swap out the top screw of your truss rod cover for your chosen Tune Voodooâ„¢, thread the D and G strings through the guide, and you’re ready to play.

  • Zero Modifications Required: Because it utilizes the factory screw hole on your truss rod cover, there is absolutely no drilling or permanent alteration needed. If you ever decide to remove or swap designs, your guitar remains completely spotless and in pristine, mint condition.
