Vola Guitars has announced the highly anticipated return of the OZ ROA electric guitar, now available with a striking phosphorescent treatment called the “Luminous” finish. This new finish glows in the dark, offering musicians a captivating and unique stage presence. While the sandblasted black exterior provides a subtle, menacing look during the day, it transforms into a radiant spectacle under low light.
Stunning Luminous Finish
This reintroduction of the Vola OZ ROA also includes two other new finish options, appealing to a variety of player styles. The Sandblasted White model features a frosty, arctic aesthetic that highlights the intricate wood grain, while the vibrant DSE finish offers a psychedelic gradient bursting with color and personality.

Chambered Mahogany
Beyond its eye-catching appearance, the Vola OZ ROA remains a high-performance instrument built for the demands of modern guitarists.
The guitar features a chambered Mahogany body with an Ash top, ensuring a balance of resonance and light weight. Its one-piece Roasted Maple neck boasts a comfortable Modern C profile, providing smooth and fast playability across the 12-inch radius fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets.
HSS
For electronics, the OZ ROA comes equipped with a versatile HSS pickup configuration. This setup includes Vola VS-I single coils in the neck and middle positions, complemented by a powerful Vola VHC humbucker at the bridge.
Players can explore a wide range of tones, from crystalline clean sounds to searing leads, using the 5-way lever switch and a convenient mini coil-tap switch.
Gotoh
Rounding out the premium features are Gotoh 510T-FE1 tremolo hardware, nickel appointments, and a 42mm bone nut, all contributing to exceptional tuning stability and sustain.
Each Vola OZ ROA is handmade in Japan and ships with a Vola Custom Series gig bag, strung with D’Addario XTE0942 strings.
