The Vox Classic Vintage Red AC Custom Series continues its tradition of offering limited edition colorways with its latest release, featuring the AC10C1, AC15C1, and AC30C2 amps in a striking red finish. This bold color is complemented by black and gold diamond fret cloth and a vintage rectangular Vox badge, adding a touch of retro charm to these iconic amps.
Classic Vintage Red AC Custom Series
First up is the AC10C1, boasting 10 watts of power, features two EL84 and two 12AX7 tubes, paired with a 10″ Celestion VX10 speaker. Its top-mounted controls include volume, reverb, treble, bass, and gain, offering versatile sound customization options.
AC15
With over 60 years of history, the AC15 remains a beloved classic, delivering 15 watts of power through EL84 tubes, 12AX7 preamp tubes, and a 12” Celestion G12M Greenback speaker. Its midrange crunch is legendary, making it a favorite among guitarists worldwide.
AC30C2
The AC30C2, the largest of the trio, delivers 30 watts of power and features dual 12″ 8-ohm Celestion G12M Greenback speakers. It offers a wide range of controls, including master volume, tone cut, and Top Boost controls for volume, treble, and bass. Additionally, built-in reverb and tremolo effects can be customized using tone, level, speed, and depth controls.
Price & Release Date
These special editions of the Vox AC custom series amps are priced at £599 for the AC10C1, £829 for the AC15C1, and £1,299 for the AC30C2, and will be available starting April 2024.
