In 2003, The Darkness, the British rock sensation, stormed the music scene with their chart-topping hit ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’ and the platinum-selling debut album ‘Permission to Land.‘
However, at the peak of their fame in 2006, the band disbanded and vanished from the music landscape.
Now, in 2023 the band is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album. They have recently revealed a Permission to Land limited run pedal and now there is a new ‘warts and all’ documentary to go with it.

Fast forward to 20 years later, and The Darkness is ready to share their remarkable story. This feature-length documentary provides an unfiltered and candid look at this iconic band.
This documentary will hit cinemas nationwide in the UK for one night only on November 9th, with additional encore showings.
It will also be available for digital download and on Blu-ray starting December 4th. So if you aren’t in the UK you will still be able to watch the madness unfold.
