If you are a Blink-182 fan, you will be pleased to see that the Fender Tom Delonge Starcaster is about to return in 2024. Delonge shared a teaser image of the new pink version with black binding onhis Instagram page. All the post says is “10,9,8,7…” so we can assume the release will be sometime next week.

Custom Shop

The original Fender Custom Shop versions had a custom Blink-182 logo inlay created by Ron Thorn. We are guessing these new models are production models, probably made in Indonesia, Mexico or maybe even the USA. Therefore, it won't be quite as expensive or as ornate.

Specifications?

Well, it has dot fret markers and a Fender logo... Apart from that, we can guess it will be a PAF-style Seymour Duncan SH-5 humbucker, and it is a semi-hollow model with an oversized ’70s Strat-style headstock and single volume control.

Colours?

His signature Stratocaster was reissued in 2023,  so it makes sense for him to have a reissue of the Starcaster for 2024. The Strat is available in Daphne Blue, Surf Green, Graffiti Yellow, and Gloss Black finishes. There was also a limited edition of the all-black version for Black Friday. But we will have to wait and see what colours this new Starcaster will be available in.
