One of the key enhancements in the Argo Boost Deluxe is the internal HIGHS switch.
During development, Mick Taylor suggested making the boost a little brighter, but instead of a permanent change, Mythos made it a player’s choice!
- Boost Sparkle: When the small HIGHS switch is engaged (it ships stock off), it adds a subtle amount of high-end sparkle to your signal, but ONLY when you are using the Boost mode.
- Fuzz Integrity: Importantly, this bright circuit is not part of the Octave Fuzz sound, ensuring the classic, thick fuzz character remains untouched.
