Fender has officially reissued the iconic signature guitars of country music legend Buck Owens. These limited-edition instruments pay homage to Owens’ distinctive red, white, and blue aesthetic and the raw, electrified sound he pioneered.
Buck Owens Signature Guitars
Owens, known for his work with the Buckaroos, was a cornerstone of the Bakersfield Sound movement. His influence on country music is undeniable, and his signature guitars have become synonymous with his legacy.

Buck Owens Telecaster
The Limited Edition Buck Owens Telecaster faithfully recreates the electric guitar Owens often played throughout his career. This Telecaster delivers the classic Bakersfield sound with a bound alder body, a late 1950s C-shaped maple neck, and a vintage 7.25″ radius maple fretboard. The guitar is adorned with a striking red, white, and blue sparkle finish and gold hardware, reminiscent of Owens’ original instrument.

Buck Owens Kingman
The Buck Owens Kingman is a similarly styled acoustic guitar that captures the essence of the Harmony H169 Owens used extensively during his Hee Haw Show appearances. This instrument played a crucial role in shaping the Bakersfield Sound, and the reissue features a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and the signature patriotic color scheme.

“As a pioneer of the raw, electrified ‘Bakersfield Sound’ and a co-host of the hit TV variety show Hee Haw, Owens forever transformed country music,” Fender states. “Now, players can channel his spirit with these two very different guitars.”
The Buck Owens Telecaster and Kingman are available now for $1,999 and $699, respectively.
