Originally conceived as the Flash-based "Dressing Room" by OSG forum admin mynameisjonas, the platform allowed offset guitar enthusiasts to spend countless hours designing their dream instruments. Since Flash was deprecated, the tool has been unavailable, leaving a void in the offset community.
To honor the original, Guitar Bomb has rebuilt the editor from the ground up. The new Offset Guitar Builder maintains the spirit of the classic Dressing Room while introducing expanded customization options, a mobile-responsive interface, and completely modern architecture.
"We loved the original Dressing Room, so we set out to recreate it and add even more features," says Jef Stone, Founder of Guitar Bomb. "We want to offer this to everyone in the guitar community for free, letting users test styles, hardware options, and combinations before they build."
Since its soft launch on September 8th, the builder has already attracted thousands of visitors globally. Guitar Bomb is actively collecting bug reports and UI feedback to refine the platform before its official V1 release.
What’s Next for the Builder?
Guitar Bomb is already fielding inquiries from third-party guitar and hardware companies looking to integrate their custom parts into the platform. Future updates will add more guitar models and let users virtually "mod" their offsets with real-world aftermarket upgrades. Once out of Public Beta, the Offset Guitar Builder will remain 100% free to use.
