Fender Richie Kotzen Signature Baby Blue Strat Teased for 2027
Richie Kotzen teases a stunning Baby Blue Fender Stratocaster signature model for 2027, featuring flame maple and gold hardware. Tour dates hinted.
Richie Kotzen is officially hinting at a brand-new signature Fender Stratocaster, and it could be his most visually striking model yet. In a recent Instagram post, the former Poison and Mr. Big guitarist all but confirmed the upcoming release of a stunning blue Strat, along with plans to return to the live stage.
Instagram Tease
The teased instrument boasts premium aesthetics, featuring a highly figured flame maple top, a sleek maple fingerboard, and striking gold hardware.
This development comes shortly after the highly anticipated global rollout of his original mid-’90s signature Stratocaster, which was strictly a Japan-exclusive model until last summer.
Fender now appears to be wasting no time expanding Kotzen’s worldwide roster.
"For everyone who’s been asking about my blue Strat, 2027 might bring some exciting news,” Kotzen shared with his followers. He also gave fans hope for upcoming live dates, adding, "And while we’re at it, don’t be surprised if you see me back on a few stages next year. Stay tuned…"
Baby Blue
This new Baby Blue finish will join the Transparent White Burst and the Transparent Red Burst models already available.
With a potential new Fender release and 2027 tour dates on the horizon, guitar enthusiasts have plenty to look forward to in the coming months.
They should be great guitars. I've owned his signature Telecaster model for nearly 18 years now, and it is my regular gigging guitar because it's so versatile.
Sure, these are Stratocasters, but they have all the touches Kotzen prefers, and he has great taste.
