Patina Guitars Unveils Affordable P90 Offsets & Basses

Patina Guitars is bringing high-end specifications to the accessible guitar market with a major expansion of its lineup, introducing two new offset P90 electric guitars, its first-ever bass models, and a fresh wave of bold finishes.

Building on a highly successful launch, the brand continues to pair vintage-inspired character with premium modern features—including nitrocellulose finishes, roasted maple necks, and stainless steel frets—all starting well under £600.

The New P90 Offsets: PJ-3 and PJ-6

Leading the drop are the PJ-3 and PJ-6, designed for players seeking classic alternative styling backed by raw P90 power. Both models feature custom-wound Alnico V P90 pickups and vintage-style offset tremolo systems mounted to lightweight Paulownia bodies.

Premium specifications across both offset models include:

• Nitrocellulose finishes for authentic aging and acoustic resonance.
• Satin roasted maple necks paired with premium rosewood fingerboards.
• Stainless steel jumbo frets for extreme durability and smooth bending.
• PJ-3 (£535 RRP): A pristine, non-reliced model available in Candy Apple Red and Purple Pearl.
• PJ-6 (£589 RRP): Features a factory relic treatment for instant vintage appeal, available in Oxblood Relic and Sherwood Green Relic.

Patina Enters the Bass Market

Patina is officially moving into the bass arena with the launch of the PPB-3 and PPJB-3, both priced at £719 RRP.

• PPB-3: Features a classic P-style format with a punchy split-coil pickup, finished in Charcoal or Fiesta Red.
• PPJB-3: Expands tonal flexibility by adding a bridge single-coil, available in Lake Placid Blue and Olympic White.

Fresh Colors for the PS Range

The wider Patina catalog is also getting a vibrant update. The existing PS electric models are now available in classic Fiesta Red and Silver at an RRP of £519.

According to Lee Alexander of Patina Guitars, the brand’s rapid growth comes down to sheer value. "That combination of nitro finishes, roasted maple necks, stainless steel frets, and custom-wound pickups on guitars starting at £535 is exactly what Patina is about," Alexander said. "We wanted the specification to feel genuinely exciting rather than simply competitive at the price."
