TonePros makes locking bridges and tailpieces — hardware whose entire purpose is that the parts stop moving. The locking Tune-o-matic system means a bridge stays put during a string change and keeps its intonation, which sounds minor until it is not. It is specified widely on production instruments, which is where it appears throughout our archive: in the hardware line of a new model rather than in a story of its own.
