Legendary guitarist Alt Rock Dave Navarro is back in the news, but this time for a reason much more pleasant than the recent Jane’s Addiction drama. Navarro has teamed up with Dunlop and streetwear giant Supreme to create a limited-edition Cry Baby wah pedal that’s as much a fashion statement as a classic effect.
A Collaboration Born From Passion
Navarro has turned his attention to a new project following the unfortunate on-stage altercation that led to the cancellation of Jane’s Addiction tour. This signature Cry Baby wah pedal reflects his long-standing love for the classic Dunlop effect and injects a healthy dose of Supreme’s signature style.
Focus on Sound and Style
While exact specifications are still under wraps, the pedal is based on the popular Cry Baby Wah GCB95 model and features a Fasel inductor for a focused wah sound. The real eye-catcher, though, is the stunning metallic red finish adorned with Supreme logos, making it a true collector’s piece for fans of both Navarro and the streetwear brand.
Limited Availability and Fall/Winter 2024 Release
Supreme’s website teases a Fall/Winter 2024 launch. With its unique design and potential for limited availability, this collaboration promises to be a hot item for guitarists and streetwear enthusiasts alike.
MSRP – $298
Navarro’s Excitement
Navarro himself is clearly thrilled with the project, taking to social media to express his enthusiasm: “@supremenewyork and @jimdunlopusa – the #crybaby wah has always been a staple on my board and now it’s available with an ungodly amount of @supremenewyork steeze!”
