The new MXR Randy Rhoads Distortion+ features a sleek black and white finish that mirrors the classic Jackson Concorde's aesthetic, complete with elegant gold knurled control knobs for its Output and Distortion parameters.
According to Dunlop, MXR's parent company, the pedal was "painstakingly spec'd from Randy's own MXR Distortion+" to ensure its sound is as authentic as its look. Each pedal comes with an exclusive collector's booklet, offering a deeper dive into the gear and legacy of one of rock's most influential guitarists. The Jackson Concorde itself holds a legendary place in rock history. Designed in collaboration with Grover Jackson, the custom-built, shark-fin-inspired guitar launched the Jackson brand and became Rhoads’ go-to instrument on the road.
