Fender and Andertons have teamed up to create a historic collaboration, celebrating Andertons’ 60th anniversary with a special edition of Stratocasters and Telecasters. The highlight of this release is a groundbreaking, non-relic’d road-worn finish that has never been seen before on a Fender Special Run product.

A New Era of Vintage Tone

This exclusive finish, applied to a nitrocellulose lacquer, replicates the natural aging process of a vintage instrument. It offers a “closet-style” appearance, capturing the essence of a well-loved guitar without the artificial aging techniques often used in relic’d instruments.

Period-Correct Parts and Authentic Sound

To complete the vintage experience, these guitars feature American-made vintage-style parts:

  • Telecasters: Pure Vintage ’64 Tele pickups with Alnico 5 magnets
  • Stratocasters: Custom Shop Fat ’60s single-coil pickups

Both models come in Fiesta Red with the non-relic’d road-worn finish.

These pickups, combined with alder bodies, C-shape maple necks, and rosewood fretboards, deliver an authentic vintage tone and feel.

The Telecasters have a classic three-saddle bridge featuring slotted steel saddles for precise intonation. Vintage-style tuners and a four-bolt neck plate complete the authentic look. Stratocasters also boast vintage tuners, while a six-saddle synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles.
