Harley Benton has unveiled its latest innovation, the ST-JAMster, a new electric guitar model explicitly designed for aspiring musicians. This all-in-one instrument integrates built-in effects and amplifiers, making it the perfect starting point for anyone embarking on their guitar journey.

ST-JAMster

The Harley Benton ST-JAMster boasts a classic Stratocaster-style design, offering aesthetic appeal and comfortable playability. Its integrated multi-effects system sets it apart, eliminating the need for separate pedals or amplifiers.

This makes it incredibly user-friendly for beginners, allowing them to start playing immediately.

“The ST-JAMster raises the bar on what a beginner guitar can do.”  “We wanted to create an instrument that provides everything a new player needs in one convenient package, making the learning process as easy and enjoyable as possible.”Harley Benton

All-in-One Guitar

Inspired by similar concepts seen in the Mooer GTR line, the ST-JAMster takes the integration of effects directly into the guitar a step further, explicitly targeting the beginner market. This eliminates the often-daunting task of setting up and learning to use external gear.

The ST-JAMster features five distinct sound modes accessible via a master sound switch: Clean, Clean/Reverb, Overdrive, Distortion, and Distortion/Delay

This allows players to experiment with various tones without requiring complex adjustments or additional equipment.

Despite its integrated effects, the ST-JAMster can also be used as a “normal” guitar, allowing players to connect it to external pedals and amplifiers if desired. A simple switch toggles between passive mode (for external use) and active mode (for internal effects).

In active mode, the guitar requires three AA batteries (not included), which provide up to ten hours of playing time. A convenient LED display on the front indicates the battery level.

The ST-JAMster includes a stereo mini-jack headphone output for private practice, allowing players to jam silently without disturbing others.

It features 22 frets and a 25.5” scale length, suitable for various playing styles. Hardware includes reliable die-cast tuners and a synchronized tremolo system.

Regarding pickups, the ST-style guitar is equipped with an HSS configuration, comprising two single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions and a humbucker near the bridge. Controls include a master volume and a master tone knob, along with a 5-way switch for selecting different pickup combinations.
