Mixwave has announced a landmark collaboration with JHS Pedals, bringing the iconic sounds of JHS to digital audio workstations with the release of the “JHS Loud Is More Good Collection.” This comprehensive plugin suite meticulously recreates the sought-after tones of JHS’s celebrated pedals and amplifiers, offering musicians and producers unparalleled versatility and sonic depth.
JHS Plugin Collection
JHS pedals, renowned for their blend of vintage character and modern functionality, have long been a staple for guitarists worldwide.
Mixwave’s new collection leverages proprietary component-level modeling to capture the essence of these pedals and the “Loud Is More Good” amplifier, ensuring every nuance, from harmonic richness to tube-like compression, is faithfully reproduced.

“We’re excited to announce that, for the first time, we’re releasing plugins in partnership with Mixwave!” said Josh Scott of JHS Pedals. “This pack includes some of our most beloved pedals and a fantastic amp, all digitally recreated with incredible accuracy. Plus, some of the plugins feature new options not available in our physical units, adding even more flexibility.”

The “JHS Loud Is More Good Collection” features:
- JHS Loud Is More Good Amplifier: A detailed emulation of the hand-built original, designed in collaboration with Milkman Sound, delivering bold, high-headroom tones and exceptional pedal-friendly response.
- Includes an extensive cabinet module with impulse responses of the 1×12 cabinet, featuring Jupiter speakers, and 21 virtual microphones.
- Onboard EQ and compressor, and signal chain reordering.
- JHS Morning Glory: A precise recreation of JHS’s celebrated transparent overdrive, capturing its clarity and touch sensitivity.
- JHS Hard Drive: Emulating the high-gain distortion of the 90s and 2000s alternative rock era, delivering everything from tube-like crunch to massive distortion.
- JHS Pulp N Peel: A studio-quality compressor and preamp emulation with parallel compression and an optional grit toggle.
