JHS Pedals

Josh Scott started modifying Boss pedals as a side hustle in the mid-2000s, teaching himself electronics by taking stock circuits apart to see what changed the sound. He founded JHS Pedals properly in 2007, working out of a woodshed in Kansas City before the company grew into a full manufacturer with around 35 staff. The Morning Glory overdrive and the Colour Box became two of its most widely recognised original designs, and JHS has since collaborated on reissues with Electro-Harmonix and other established brands.
