MXR is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its iconic Phase 90 pedal with a limited-edition gold release. This special edition boasts the same classic sound revered by guitar legends like Eddie Van Halen and David Gilmour, but with a dazzling new aesthetic.

“It was too good to keep to ourselves,” stated MXR, acknowledging a previous gold-plated release exclusively for industry insiders in 2022. This time, the coveted Phase 90 will be available to the public in limited quantities.

It follows on the heels of last week’s EHX Golden Small Stone, another limited-run ’70s style phaser effect.
