NAMM 2025: Peavey Electronics has released five new preamp pedals, bringing the iconic sounds of some of their most revered amplifiers to the modern pedalboard.
Bandit Supreme Teal Stripe Pedal
Leading the pack is the Bandit Supreme Teal Stripe Pedal, faithfully recreating the legendary lead channel circuit from the early ’90s Bandit 112 and Supreme 160 amps.
Featuring Pre and Post Gain controls, Gain and Mid-Shift switches, and a three-band active EQ, this pedal promises to deliver the same powerful tone-shaping capabilities as the original amps.

Decade Pedal
The Decade Pedal pays homage to the classic Decade amp from the 1980s, renowned for its distinctive character. This recreation boasts a switchable Saturation channel for added grit and sustain alongside the familiar three-band EQ and Pre/Post Gain controls.
We have just seen the Josh Homme collaboration reissue of this practice amp, so maybe this pedal version will be a more flexible option for some.

Rock Master Preamp Pedal
Guitarists craving the legendary “Ultra” channel of the 1990s Rock Master amp will be thrilled with the Rock Master Preamp Pedal. Powered by an internal HV TransTube power supply, this pedal aims to replicate the dynamic headroom and sonic punch of the original amp.

Session-LTD 400 Preamp Pedal
For those seeking vintage warmth and clarity, the Session-LTD 400 Preamp Pedal captures the essence of the 1974 Session/LTD 400 preamp circuit. Designed with tone purists in mind, it features a shift control for precise mid-frequency adjustment and a Presence control.

VTM Preamp Pedal
Finally, the VTM Preamp Pedal is sure to excite Grunge enthusiasts, faithfully recreating the preamp circuit of the iconic VTM 60/120 amplifier.
An eight-position DIP switch allows for extensive sonic customization, reminiscent of the original amp’s versatility.

Made to Rock
All five pedals feature hard bypass switching with anti-click circuitry, robust construction, and top-mounted jacks. They run from a standard 9V supply or battery, with some models (Decade, Session), including either an internal 24V or 25V circuit.
Pricing and Availability
Originally priced at $239, the Peavey Preamp Pedals are now widely available for $199 at most dealers.
