NAMM 2025 – Guitar effects pioneer Pigtronix has launched the Cosmosis I, a streamlined version of its acclaimed Cosmosis reverb pedal. This compact powerhouse retains the original’s mesmerizing soundscapes while offering a more pedalboard-friendly design with a single footswitch and top-mounted jacks.
Cosmosis I
Unlock otherworldly textures with Pigtronix Cosmosis I. This compact reverb pedal features a dynamic Morph function, three ambient algorithms, and easy-to-use controls for inspiring sonic explorations.
Pigtronix Cosmosis I features three distinct ambient reverb algorithms:
- Theatre: Evokes a range of spaces, from intimate rooms to expansive halls, utilizing multiple parallel short reverberators.
- Temple: Simulates the grandeur of large indoor spaces with a blend of serial and parallel reflections.
- Cosmos: Explores the vastness of space with a unique algorithm that generates ethereal reverb based on the harmonic content of the input signal.

“Morph” Beyond the Ordinary
A key feature of Cosmosis I is its dynamic “Morph” function.
By holding the footswitch, players can trigger a continuous oscillation of key reverb parameters, creating mesmerizing and unpredictable sonic shifts. This adds a layer of expressive depth, allowing for unique and evolving soundscapes.

Compact and Controllable
The Cosmosis I boasts a user-friendly interface with intuitive controls:
- Tone: Shapes the tonal character of the reverb with a variable high/low-pass filter.
- Size: Adjusts the perceived size of the reverb space.
- Blend: Controls the balance between dry signal and wet reverb.

Four Preset Slots
Cosmosis I includes four onboard preset slots, allowing players to easily store and recall their favorite sounds. This makes it easy to switch between different soundscapes during live performances or recording sessions.

Stereo Output
For expanded sonic possibilities, Cosmosis I offers a stereo output. When used with a stereo cable, the pedal delivers a wider, more immersive reverb experience.
Pricing and Availability
Cosmosis I is available now for $149.
