This cool-looking ’50s retro space vibe Wild Customs Alice Animal Impala signature model looks sweet as pie. With a stunning Orange Flake finish and bags of vintage style!
Alice Animal
This is one fine-looking guitar, and I love that Orange Flake finish—it just looks so yummy. Wild Customs is a boutique guitar maker, and among its customers are Billy Gibbons and Adam Clayton. The new Alice Animal Impala signature model won’t be for everyone, but it is perfect if you want to stand out from the crowd.
Custom Shop
It is a Custom Shop creation and uses a chambered mahogany body with a maple top, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. I love that custom celluloid shell geometric-shaped white pickguard with the pin striping and the way the controls are inserted into the guitar’s body. The devil is in the detail, and all the little touches, like the subtle fret markers and headstock stripe motif, just add up for me. I think it’s ace!
Seymour Duncan
The hardware includes a set of open-gear Schertler tuners, a tune-o-matic-style bridge paired with a stop bar tailpiece, and a set of Seymour Duncan SH-6 pickups with custom pickup covers, again with a sweet design. The pickups are wired up using a chrome three-way selector switch and matching chrome master controls for the tone and volume.
It’s certainly not cheap, but it is beautiful, and I would rock the hell out of it every day of the week!
