The Epiphone Chris Stapleton Frontie is part of a limited release of 300 acoustic guitars made in the USA. At a cool $5k each these are pretty expensive and so you will need deep pockets if you want to buy one.
These Epiphone Chris Stapleton Frontier acoustics are all made in Bozeman, Montana and come in a Frontier-Burst nitro finish. The guitar features a thermally aged Sitka spruce top, figured AA maple back and sides, and double engraved pickguards with the classic Frontier lariat and cactus motif.
The neck has a Rounded C profile with an Indian Rosewood fretboard, a set of Mother of Pearl Slotted Rectangle inlays and 20 Legend Large frets
Based on a classic ’60s Epiphone Frontier model these are pretty special acoustics and will no doubt be quite sought after by fans of Chris and of acoustic guitars in general.
Only 300 guitars will be produced by luthiers but at $5k each that is probably more than enough.
L.R. Baggs VTC
They come with the L.R. Baggs VTC preamp and pickup system, with Volume and Tone controls mounted in the guitar’s soundhole. Each one comes in a very fancy Custom Hardshell Case with a pink interior and tooled exterior.
