PRS Guitars has unveiled a new addition to their popular SE Series, the SE NF3. This guitar marks the exciting debut of PRS’s acclaimed Narrowfield pickups in the SE lineup, making it a unique and versatile option for guitarists of various genres.
SE NF3 – Narrowfield Powerhouse
The heart of the SE NF3 lies in its trio of PRS Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) “S” pickups. These pickups boast taller bobbins to deliver a focused and powerful tone, perfect for rock, blues, gospel, country, or even jazz.
Decades of PRS Heritage
“The NF3 ‘S’ pickup development has been a long-term project,” shared Jack Higginbotham, PRS Guitars COO. “We’re thrilled to bring this concept to life within the SE Series. Beyond the pickups, the SE NF3 embodies the spirit of our original EG model from nearly 35 years ago.”
The guitar’s neck and body assembly draw inspiration from the SE Silver Sky and have been further refined through the SE CE and Swamp Ash Special models. This creates a fresh design built upon decades of PRS experience and cutting-edge engineering.
