The original LPB-1, discovered by EHX founder Mike Matthews in the 1960s, played a pivotal role in creating the iconic Big Muff Pi fuzz pedal.
This new iteration, the LPB-3, retains the core functionality of the LPB-1 – a clean boost—but adds many new features for greater tonal control and versatility.

The LPB-3 boasts an impressive +33dB of clean boost, allowing you to push your amp for heavier distortion or simply increase your overall volume for solos and leads. The powerful 3-band EQ with a parametric midrange control lets you precisely sculpt your tone, while the pre-gain knob offers additional fine-tuning of the boost level.

Housed in EHX's Nano-sized chassis, the LPB-3 is pedalboard-friendly and easy to transport. It features selectable buffered or true bypass switching to integrate with your existing rig seamlessly.
