Specifications

These new Dave Grohl models come in Pelham Blue and are based on his US signature guitar. That US mode is based on the Trini Lopez models with distinctive diamond-shaped f-holes.

Gibson Burstbuckers

It is factory-fitted with US Gibson Burstbucker 2 and 3 humbuckers, with CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors. Two volumes, two tone controls and a three-way switch control the pickups. The hardware looks like Epiphone's Locktone bridge, stop tailpiece and tuners, so it should be pretty solid.

Epiphone Specs vs Gibson US

The only significant downgrades are the Indian Laurel fretboard, which even has the correct fretboard inlays.  Instead of a nitrocellulose finish, this Chinese-made guitar has a gloss poly finish. However, it does have the proper binding. The new Epiphone version comes in a hard case and has Dave Grohl's signature on the back of the headstock.

Price?

This signature Dave Grohl model could be pretty pricey because the new Epiphone Firebirds officially announced today are expensive. They also feature US Gibson pickups and similar hardware, etc. MSRP - $1299.00
