A long-time collaborator with PRS, country, blues, and rock guitar virtuoso David Grissom was instrumental in shaping some of the brand’s earliest designs, including the groundbreaking McCarty model. His original, highly sought-after DGT guitar was later adapted into the successful SE DGT. Now, the SE DGT Standard strips down the design for a more focused, resonant platform.

Presented with an all-mahogany body, the new Standard promises to deliver "organic tone, rich resonance, and bold midrange presence."

- Pickups: PRS DGT “S” humbuckers designed to deliver vintage character and flexible tones.
- Controls: The versatile tone controls remain, featuring independent Volume controls for each pickup, a Master Tone control with push/pull coil tapping for single-coil sounds, and a three-way toggle switch.
- Hardware: A PRS tremolo bridge with whammy bar and lightweight tuners ensure modern reliability and tuning stability.
- Neck & Fretboard: Built to a 25" scale length, the multi-ply neck features a smooth 22-fret rosewood fretboard with a 10" radius. Instead of the traditional PRS birds, the fretboard is adorned with classic Moon inlays.
