Solar Guitars, the high-performance guitar brand founded by YouTube personality and metal guitarist Ola Englund, has officially announced the launch of an all-new body shape: the ACS Type.
Designed to merge stealthy ergonomics with extreme playability, the ACS Series introduces a fully carved front and back to Solar’s popular A-style contour. Built for precision modern players and shredders, these flagship models feature an extended 27-fret ebony fingerboard, premium Gotoh 1996T tremolo systems, and high-output pickups.
"I wanted to create a fully carved front and back A-style shape with our signature bevels for maximum comfort, so that’s what we did!" says Solar Guitars founder Ola Englund. "It feels sleek and smooth and plays f**king awesome."
The initial wave of the ACS line debuts with two striking offerings: a 6-string model in Gloss White and an extended-scale 7-string in Pink Sparkle Gloss. Solar Guitars confirmed that additional ACS models are slated to drop throughout 2026.
