Celebrating 15 years of its flagship model, Texas boutique builder Sully Guitars has announced the '71 Trella 24, a 24-fret evolution of its popular set-neck singlecut electric guitar.
24-Fret '71 Trella Singlecut
Designed to solve classic singlecut playability issues, the updated build delivers extended upper-register range while preserving the neck-to-body balance and upper-fret access of the original 22-fret layout.
A prototype of the '71 Trella 24 has already seen extensive road action in the hands of Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Kiki Wong, who integrated the instrument into her live setup for tracks like "1979."
Wong praised the guitar as "a work of art embodying all the beauty, versatility, and charisma I need from an instrument," noting it quickly became one of her all-time favorites.
