The new Two notes OPUS Â is a full-on amp modelling rig for your recording setup. Watch Pete Thorn put the new OPUS to work in his home studio.
Read the guide →Guillaume Pille was recording and gigging his way through university in Montpellier, France, and kept running into the same frustration: a great tube amp he couldn't actually crank without upsetting a whole building. He founded Two Notes Audio Engineering in 2008 to solve that problem properly, building load boxes and speaker-cabinet simulation technology that let a player run a real amp at studio-safe volume while still capturing its full tone. The Torpedo range, and the proprietary DynIR impulse-response technology behind it, became the product line most associated with the brand, used almost as much by studios and other amp manufacturers licensing the tech as by individual guitarists. New Torpedo hardware and GENOME software updates are what we cover most. Here's what we've written.

Two Notes GENOME 2.0 changes the game with multi-parametric amp capture, the free Capture Studio, PARADEX, iPad support, and massive new TSM-Ai models.
