EVH has unveiled three fresh takes on its popular Frankenstein Relic guitar, ditching the iconic stripes for a trio of striking new colourways.

Still, EVH has been expanding the model's reach with a series of "civilian" versions that maintain the core sound and feel while offering a more versatile aesthetic. The latest additions to the lineup – Vintage Sunburst, Blueburst, and Silverburst – push this concept even further.

These new models retain the core specifications of the Frankenstein Relic, including the basswood body with a worn-in relic finish, maple neck, and high-output Wolfgang bridge humbucker. EVH claims the guitar "nails Eddie's classic tone," a testament to its ability to capture the essence of the original.

Floyd Rose

While the neck pickup is purely cosmetic, as on the original Frankenstein, players can wire it in for additional tonal options. The guitar also features a Floyd Rose tremolo with a brass block, ensuring rock-solid stability and divebombing capabilities.
