Old Blood Noise Endeavors Beam Splitter

The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Beam Splitter takes one signal and makes three copies of it, each with differing overdrive voices and delay times.

Beam Splitter

OBNE's Beam Splitter's output can be kept in parallel mono or split individually into three places. Allowing for a bigger spread of sound, It even offers filters, flangers, and lo-fi vibratos, and has trailing slap-back echoes using the delay controls and blending everything to taste.

Controls

It has controls for Gain, Volume, and Tone to shape the amount of distortion, overall volume, and brightness of each drive section. Then Time introduces delays of up to 125mS on the green and blue sections of the pedal.

The Decay control is then used to add intense filtering or trailing delays, depending on the Time.

Then Deviate will randomly vary the delay time, giving a more natural feel and chorus-like effect. There is also a handy expression jack input to externally control the Deviate knob, for on-the-fly control.

Outputs

It features top-mounted jacks for summed parallel mono output or split output for each drive. The pedal uses a soft-touch bypass footswitch for true bypass and to allow for minimal switch noise. It requires a 9V DC negative tip 2.1mm jack power supply capable of 150mA. Making it pedalboard-friendly.
