PRS Guitars proudly announces the addition of two new colors to their 2024 Silver Sky lineup: the sophisticated Faded Black Tee Satin and the striking Venetian Blue. These colors add a fresh look to the John Mayer signature model, available in both rosewood and maple neck options.
PRS Silver Sky 2024
The Faded Black Tee Satin, a matte black finish, has been a long-anticipated addition. Fans of John Mayer may recognize this sleek finish from his numerous live performances over the years, particularly during his Sob Rock tour. This finish, inspired by Mayer's classic Black1 Fender Stratocaster, offers a modern, Apple-esque aesthetic with its stealthy, matte appearance.
Venetian Blue, the second new colorway, presents a vibrant contrast. This unique shade, reminiscent of a rare Porsche paint color from the late 1980s, adds a touch of luxury and stands out as a completely new option in the Silver Sky range.
Maple & Rosewood
Both new colors maintain the high-quality specifications PRS is known for, including an alder body, maple neck, and a 7.25” fretboard radius. They also feature a trio of 635JM single-coils and a classic Strat-style control layout. These new models are also available with either a maple or a rosewood fretboard.
These additions are set to become favorites among guitar enthusiasts and John Mayer fans alike. The Faded Black Tee Satin and Venetian Blue models are now available at PRS dealers, offering guitarists the perfect blend of style and substance.
