Tech 21 has announced the release of the Marty Friedman Signature SansAmp pedal, designed to capture the iconic tones of the renowned guitarist. Friedman, known for his enchanting melodies and complex riffs, prefers a streamlined approach to gear. Tech 21 aimed to embody his sound in a compact, user-friendly pedal.

The Marty Friedman Signature SansAmp comes pre-loaded with Friedman's core clean, dirty, and lead tones. Operating similarly to the SansAmp PSA 2.0, it features two modes: Performance mode for instant access to three main presets, and Studio mode for storing up to 128 custom presets.

The pedal features controls for Reverb, 3-band active EQ, Drive, Level, and an adjustable Gate for dynamic signal cleanup. A dedicated Filter control, voiced specifically for Friedman's sound, manipulates the midrange.

The pedal prioritizes ease of use. Storing and recalling programs is straightforward, with smooth, linear control adjustments. Users simply dial in their desired tone and press the Save button.
The Marty Friedman Signature SansAmp is versatile enough for both studio and live applications. In the studio, it can be used for direct recording, enhancing existing tracks, and adding unique touches to various instruments.
Live, it can function as a preamp direct into a power amp, a "monster direct box" to a PA system (or both simultaneously), and as an outboard processor.
