Tube Squealer: Three Iconic Mid-Gain Circuits in One Pedal
The Warm Audio Tube Squealer is an all-in-one mid-gain solution that faithfully recreates three legendary Japanese overdrive circuits—the 808, TS9, and TS10.
This single pedal allows guitarists to select between the earliest iteration of the classic overdrive (808), the most widely recognized version (TS9), and the revered, underrated circuit (TS10).
Key features for modern players include:
- A Mix knob for blending clean and driven signals, enabling precise tone shaping.
- A pickup-voicing selector to optimize response for either single-coil or humbucker pickups.
- An external voltage booster for instantly increasing headroom and dynamics.
Asymmetrical Clipping
Inside, the Tube Squealer features JRC4558 op-amps, discrete transistors, and diodes, ensuring the authentic character and response of the originals, complete with asymmetrical clipping. The Warm Audio Throne of Tone is a versatile, dual-sided overdrive pedal inspired by two of the greatest British amp-inspired blues circuits of all time. It's designed to deliver the signature mid-gain "breaking" tone found in celebrated vintage amps and their boutique pedal recreations.
The Throne of Tone is built for maximum tonal flexibility, featuring:
- Two independent circuits (sides) in one enclosure.
- Two classic voicings, with low/high gain settings per side.
- Three drive modes per side: Boost, Overdrive, and Distortion, allowing players to move from subtle breakup to saturated lead tones.
- Independent Presence control () on each side, alongside the standard tone knob, for detailed tone sculpting.
